April Book Photo Challenge Day 5: Favourite Cover
'The Assassin's Blade' by Sarah J Maas has a gorgeous cover and I love the bold colours on it. And her outfit, I really want to cosplay Celaena! It's brilliant how she's all badass on the front and has a gorgeous dress on the back. Versatility, bitches.
It’s my favourite book cover on my shelf at the moment (meaning out of the books I’ve accumulated in the last 6 months) but it would be absolutely impossible for me to pick my favourite book cover *ever*.
This is one of my most recent reads and I enjoyed it very, very much. Possibly better than the ‘Throne of Glass’ series that this collection of novellas are a prequel for. They are separate but intertwined adventures, each escalating in complexity and emotions and leading to an end point you already know. That could have made it boring and predictable, but knowing the end point just breaks your heart a thousand times harder.
